 For centuries the Cape of Good Hope
has provided the sternest and most dangerous challenge for seafarers and their
boats. The development and refinement of rescue boats has saved countless lives
in these roughest of waters.
In 1983, GEMINI pioneered the
design, development and manufacture of South Africa’s first rescue RIB. Soon
after the NSRI invested in the RIB and GEMINI now provides over 75% of
the NSRI fleet. GEMINI is proud of our partnership with the NSRI and our
contribution to improved rescue standards in South African waters.
