Since the early 80’s GEMINI have dominated and set the benchmark for inflatable boat racing world wide.

The GEMINI Zapcat is the brain child of GEMINI founder and Chief Designer Jeff Stephens.

This original design revolutionized inflatable boat racing to the extent that it has been universally imitated. Due to GEMINI’s relentless R&D the Zapcat still completely dominates inflatable boat racing. This type of boat today widely known as the racing inflatable / pencil duck.

Today the UK’s ZAPCAT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, which ONLY uses GEMINI ZAPCATS, is the BIGGEST one design inflatable boat series in the world!

GEMINI has set numerous records in the ‘World’s Toughest Inflatable Boat Race’ – The Trans Agulhas Inflatable Boat Challenge.

Other records include “the around the Isle of Wight” and the Bay to Bay Challenge records set in our High Tech 9.1m GEMINI LMF race boat.

The GEMINI Zapcat has taken 3 different pilots to 6 consecutive Trans Agulhas wins each - a feat unlikely to be eclipsed.
